Durrani demands formation of 16 provinces
SLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister and Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani has demanded formation of 16 provinces in Pakistan including Bahawalpur, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan.
He said he will commence a campaign from July 4 involving masses in favour of formation of Bahawlpur province.
Addressing the meet the press here, Durrani said Quaid-e-Azam pledged formation of Bahawalpur province in Adgham.
Former Minister said the people’s movement will make the final decision regarding my demand if government does not pay heed to it.
Pakistan must make legislation to form 16 provinces, he concluded.
